I've been playing basketball for 23 years and have coach for about 10. My basketball journey started at a young age but I have managed to play for major basketball programs for AAU (DC Premier), High school(St. Stephens &St.Agnes), and College(Highpoint University). At this point in my career after deciding not to play professionally overseas I'm looking to pass all that ive learned on my journey down to the youth. I’ve been an “everyday hooper” my entire life—playing the game at multiple levels, including during my service in the U.S. Army and overseas in Germany. Basketball has always been more than a sport to me; it’s been a source of discipline, purpose, and opportunity. Today, I’m committed to using that passion to shape the next generation of athletes. Before starting Youth Hoops 305, I became a licensed coach with USA Basketball and began donating my time to local children and nonprofit organizations such as One More Child. Giving back to under-resourced youth is at the core of my mission and continues to drive the work I do every day.
