I studied at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in the Jazz Performance Program. While at the conservatory, I also studied Jazz Aural Skills, Music Theory, Composing and Arranging, and Kodaly Musicianship Training. Additionally, I regularly attend continuing music education seminars to keep my skills and my approach to the teaching process fresh. I am a patient teacher who knows how to make music lessons fun. As your teacher, I can help you learn the basics of guitar playing and help you explore the musical styles you enjoy, introducing new songs and coaching you in developing your technique. I teach many beginning guitar students and my approach is to help you develop yourself as a musician on a weekly basis. My studio is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but I have a successful online/virtual studio with students in five different states.
