Dr. Trace Johnson (pronounced "TRAY-se"), (DMA, University of Wisconsin-Madison), is a cello teacher in Madison, Wisconsin. Trace's extensive background in music education combined with his professional experiences working as a classical and non-classical cello soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician allows him to bring an accessible and practical approach to learning to play the cello to his students. Trace performs extensively across the state of Wisconsin in a variety of settings.

I have 14 years of swim training experience and a strong passion for helping others feel confident and capable in the water. I focus on stroke technique, water safety, and endurance while working with swimmers of all ages and skill levels. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each individual. My goal is to create a safe, positive environment where students can build skills, gain confidence, and enjoy swimming.

I am a former collegiate athlete at Gonzaga University where I spent 4 years playing and earning a degree in Psychology. After which I went on to play professionally at Forward Madison, then later at two clubs in Australias second tier before most recently playing in Spain. After college I spent lots of time coaching kids of all ages at schools, camps, and 1 on 1 training. My style of coaching ranges to intense in depth player development to reach the highest level to young school kids.
