For over two decades, I've cultivated a passion for football into a career of coaching excellence. My dedication to developing athletes extends beyond skill-building to instill teamwork and sportsmanship. I aim to foster a fun, yet disciplined environment. I am currently coaching 7th grade for the FBU DC METRO team in Washington DC. I am a former Division Athlete going to school for both track and football. In addition, I have an extensive training background holding General Manger and Fitness Manager roles at LA Fitness and Crunch Fitness.

My teaching philosophy is that you must have fun. If studying guitar feels like a chore, this won't work. I like to meet students where they are, both overall (what's the music you love!) and how they feel week to week. I've played guitar since I was 14, and I love the instrument not only because it rocks, but also because of its rich history and its standing as an art object. I have experience teaching basketball fundamentals to teenage athletes, including ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, conditioning, and game awareness. My coaching style is energetic, structured, and encouraging, with an emphasis on skill development, accountability, and confidence building. I focus on creating engaging lessons that help players improve both their basketball abilities and their overall athletic mindset.

I am a patient and encouraging tutor with 18 years of experience as an educator. I have taught students of all ages, from young children to adults studying to return to school. I work to make sure my students feel comfortable and supported, while also encouraging them to challenge themselves in their work. I have a masters in Computer Science and a bachelors in Physics. I have both teaching and one-on-one tutoring experience. I am interested in tutoring students one-on-one in math, computer science, and physics from the middle school to college level. I can do either in-person or online. I focus on making sure you understand the material beyond just manipulating symbols.

I began playing tennis before I could walk. By age 11 I competed year-round in the Texas Junior Circuit. From age 9 to 13 I was coached by the greats John Wilkerson and Edgar Arnold and was on track to begin competing nationally by age 14. I have competed in tennis, football, and baseball at the collegiate, and professional levels for the majority of my life.
