I have played varsity baseball for 4 years, as well as competitive travel ball for all of my life… and one year of JUC. I have now coached with my dad to travel ball, fall ball, local rec leagues, etc. I love to teach in fielding, as that is my strong suit as I was a second baseman, and a shortstop.

I hold a degree from Berklee College of Music and I’ve spent the last two decades developing students both privately and through instructional environments. My teaching style is rooted in practical application—helping drummers develop time, feel, consistency, and versatility across genres including country, rock, funk, blues, R&B, pop, and fusion. I also emphasize preparation for professional scenarios such as click-track performance, touring expectations, and studio efficiency.

I’m currently the High-school Coach for Franklin Simpson. I played all the way through college. I have worked with kids in a ministry capacity all my life and love teaching.

Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler. I have 14+ years of Personal Training experience individuals of all fitness levels and ages. I played basketball, baseball, football and ran track. I have experience coaching youth sports.
