I’m a former NCAA Division I basketball player at the University of Tennessee where I earned a full athletic scholarship after joining as an invited walk on. I was also a Vol Scholar and trained alongside NBA and international professional players. I now coach youth basketball and specialize in player development. I teach fundamentals, basketball IQ and game skills while building confidence and discipline. My goal is to help every player understand the game and grow as a player and leader.
"Working with Coach G has really helped me improve my game. We started with baby steps by learning the footwork first, then practicing the movements without the ball. From there, we added stationary ball handling, movement with the ball, and eventually used those same moves to create shots. We worked on advanced moves inspired by players like James Harden, and I liked how everything built on what I learned before. The workouts helped me understand not just how to do a move, but how to use it in a real game.

I believe that my role is to guide my students in the discovery of their own ability to learn, grow and research as “young historians”. Students have heard repeatedly that “knowledge is power”; my belief is that teaching them to acquire knowledge and break down information they have never interacted with yields lifelong rewards.
