A little bit about me: - Started lacrosse in 8th grade & played all through HS - 4 years at the Division 3 collegiate level at Baldwin Wallace - Head HS Club Coach for Athena Lacrosse - Head HS girls lacrosse coach With nine years of playing experience and going on year 4 of coaching, I create engaging and challenging training programs tailored to each player's individual needs. With a lifelong passion for tennis, encompassing USTA juniors, high school varsity, and collegiate play, I bring extensive experience and enthusiasm to coaching. As a licensed USTA Level 2 coach, I thrive on working with kids, using my skills and knowledge to foster their growth and love for the game. My commitment to youth development is reflected in my many years of dedicated coaching.

By day, I'm crunching numbers as an engineer, but by night, I dominate the pickleball court. With a background in tennis and softball from Norwalk High and Geneva College, I've seamlessly transitioned into pickleball, racking up wins in women's doubles, mixed doubles, and singles tournaments across Ohio. My journey in golf began at the tender age of five when I won my first tournament, igniting a passion that has shaped my entire life and career. Over the past 50 years, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in every aspect of the game:Competed on high school and college teams, honing my skills and competitive edge. Served as an Assistant Golf Coach at Fairview High School, nurturing young talent. Played internationally across four continents, broadening my perspective on the global golf landscape. Achieved the esteemed status of PGA Professional, a title I've proudly held for 35 years. Taught at some of the most prestigious clubs in the United States, including PGA National Collaborated with Golf Digest and worked alongside top instructors such as Bob Toski, Jack Lumpkin, and Todd Anderson. My approach to the game is unique, combining self-taught techniques with invaluable guidance from golf legends. I've had the honor of learning from Jack Grout, mentor to Jack Nicklaus, as well as Mike Souchack. I'm also deeply grateful for the mentorship of my friend and golf professional, Jerry Boykin, who supported me as a junior golfer. Throughout my journey, I've come to understand that golf is more than just a sport – it's a metaphor for life itself, embodying core values that extend far beyond the greens. I believe in the importance of savoring each moment, both in golf and in life, always taking time to "smell the roses" along the way. I came to John with a decent amount of experience and ability to hit the ball straight but inconsistently. John changed that inconsistency with very few of my shots being “bad” shots now. "Me and Tyler play a lot of pickleball when we are home from college and he’s very useful to learn different techniques for different styles of pickleball. He likes to play fast and strategic while I prefer to dink the ball a lot! His hand-eye coordination is also better than mind so he already has an advantage lol.

Hello all! I’m Coach Scot and I have been a athletic coach for over 15 years now! I have coached all levels from middle school to varsity with many of my players having successful high school careers, some winning state championships and some moving on to play their respective sport in college as well. I have played high level football and basketball, and continue to play high level baseball! Sports have been my life long first love, and I look forward to making you great as an athlete!

I am currently rated a 5.6 in DUPR with 2 and a half years of coaching experience. My main focus is for players of all levels to be able to adapt their game and get better by playing to their strengths. After high school, I attended Penn State University where I started the pickleball club team and begun coaching part time. I translate some of my own experience playing in pro tournaments into my lessons where I can help players adapt to the modern way the game is being played.
