Born and raised on the shores of Babylon, NY, I've ridden the waves of the East Coast since childhood, braving cold winter swells and eagerly awaiting the summer hurricanes. As soon as possible, I embarked on surf safaris, exploring breaks from the Caribbean to California and Central America, Oregon to Oahu, and beyond. With over 45 years of experience, surfing has become more than a passion—it's a way of life. Now, as an instructor, I find immense joy in helping others catch their first wave, sharing in the exhilaration that becomes a lifelong memory. Kayla has been playing pickleball for 3 years and has competed in tournaments across the nation. Currently holding a 4.5 DUPR, she continues to improve her game while gaining valuable experience. In the last 6 months, Kayla began coaching and is now IPTPA certified, eager to share her expertise and passion for the sport with players of all levels.

With 8 years of private coaching experience and 3+ years coaching groups through USA Football, I work with athletes of all ages and skill levels. I currently teach flag football and football fundamentals to ages 8–11 through USA Football. I was captain of the St. Anthony's High School football team and a starter at Southern Connecticut State University. I also specialize in agility training that helps athletes excel in any sport and currently compete in an adult flag football league.

I have taught at the University of Michigan Dearborn and Eastern Michigan University for over 14 years. I taught lab and lecture. I have written countless exams and know what teachers will ask on tests. I teach to many different learning styles.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and am a former Division 2 Track and Field All-American. My expertise lies in speed and jump training, and I’ve had the privilege of working with athletes at various levels, from high school to collegiate, as well as adults. With a background in football, basketball, and track and field, I understand the importance of tailored training to maximize performance.
