Having played overseas in Thailand & Costa Rica for a few years. I’m happy to share my experiences to the next generation & help them focus on the fundamentals of the game and not make the mistakes I made growing up. Laurentsi was born in Minsk, Belarus, and began playing tennis at the age of six. By age 12, he was competing in national and international tournaments, eventually becoming a Top 10 junior player in Belarus in both the 16U and 18U divisions. His success earned him full sponsorship through Belarus’ national tennis development program, where he had the opportunity to train alongside elite players and coaches, including Ilya Ivashka (ATP Top 50), Egor Gerasimov (ATP Top 100), Anton Dubrov (Aryna Sabalenka’s coach), and Egor Yatsyk (coach of Aslan Karatsev). At 17, Laurentsi competed in Belarus’ national selection tournament for the Davis Cup team, finishing sixth and earning a position as an additional player on the team. In 2011, Laurentsi received a full tennis scholarship to Bethany College in Kansas, where he competed in the NAIA. During both his freshman and sophomore seasons, he won his regional tournament and advanced to the semifinals of the national tournament, where he fell to the eventual champion. After earning his Bachelor of Science, Laurentsi transitioned into coaching full-time. He spent three years coaching privately before joining John McEnroe Tennis Academy in Westchester, New York where he continued to develop as a coach over the next three years. He later joined New Rochelle Racquet Club as a Head Pro further expanding his experience managing other pros and organizing programs for players of varying ages and competitive levels. Prior joining Franklin Lakes Tennis Academy Laurentsi spent two years focused primarily on developing teenage players, helping them improve their games and advance within their high school varsity and collegiate programs.

I have been coaching for 5 years. I’ve worked at Sportime and the best country clubs. I offer tennis lessons and hitting lessons. Any age or skill level!

Kayla has been playing pickleball for 3 years and has competed in tournaments across the nation. Currently holding a 4.5 DUPR, she continues to improve her game while gaining valuable experience. In the last 6 months, Kayla began coaching and is now IPTPA certified, eager to share her expertise and passion for the sport with players of all levels.

Hi my name is Edgar, 22 years old. Been playing for 15 years and still playing in the APSL. Started at FC Harlem by the age of 8 until 15. Trained under Chelsea coaches. Having my own personal goalkeeping coach, training under him for 2 years. Later went on to play at Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy MS/HS. After high school went to Bronx Community College (BCC) playing with them for 1 year until I switched over to a APSL club called Kid Super Samba FC. Been playing semi-professionally with them for 4 years. After many years of playing I realized how difficult it is to find a proper goalkeeper trainer and I would love to give back to the community in helping coach young kids who aspire to become goalkeepers.
