I have taught at the University of Michigan Dearborn and Eastern Michigan University for over 14 years. I taught lab and lecture. I have written countless exams and know what teachers will ask on tests. I teach to many different learning styles.

I’m a single-digit handicap golfer who enjoys helping others improve their game and build confidence on the course. I focus on patience, clear communication, and making golf fun for players of all skill levels. I want to coach because I love the game and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Seeing golfers improve and reach their goals is very rewarding.

Hi! I am a rising junior on the Cornell Women’s Tennis team. My dad is a great tennis coach and I’ve been learning skills from him and giving hitting lessons from a very young age! I can coach, hit, or just rally!

With 8 years of private coaching experience and 3+ years coaching groups through USA Football, I work with athletes of all ages and skill levels. I currently teach flag football and football fundamentals to ages 8–11 through USA Football. I was captain of the St. Anthony's High School football team and a starter at Southern Connecticut State University. I also specialize in agility training that helps athletes excel in any sport and currently compete in an adult flag football league.

For over 15 years, I've fostered a love of football in players of all levels. My coaching emphasizes skill development and strategic thinking, building confident and capable athletes. I strive to make every session engaging, challenging, and rewarding.

As someone who had a major accident resulting in multiple surgeries at age 19, I have learned how to heal and transform my body, and share this work with others. I am certified in and teach bodymind practices such as yoga, pilates, Moving for Life, The Nia Technique and meditation. I am also a Reiki practitioner. In the twenty years that I have been doing this work I have come to believe that, given the right tools, we all have the power to heal and transform our bodies and minds.

Known for his no-nonsense yet nurturing approach, Coach Pettaway combines deep basketball IQ with a strong focus on character, discipline, and culture. Currently serving as Head Coach of the Lawrence Woodmere Academy Post-Grad Program and Associate Head Coach for the PSA Cardinals 8th and 9th Grade Teams, Coach Pettaway has mentored and trained athletes who’ve gone on to succeed at the Division I, Division II, and JUCO levels. His coaching philosophy centers around hard work, accountability, and team alignment—values that translate beyond basketball into life success. Coach Pettaway is also the founder of Beyond the Bench & Board, a school culture consulting company that partners with schools to support deans, teachers, and school leaders in building systems that promote high expectations and strong relationships. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Rockaway Beach is my home break. I’ve surfed all over the world—from Hawaii to Indonesia, Puerto Rico to Peru, as well as California and Japan. I’m passionate about teaching and giving people the opportunity to learn this amazing sport while connecting with nature and the waves.
