I'm a passionate pickleball coach with a deep understanding of the game's intricacies and a proven track record of helping players of all levels improve their skills and reach their full potential. I've been coaching for over five years, and my coaching philosophy focuses on building a strong foundation, developing strategic thinking, and fostering a love for the sport.

"My lesson with Emmy was quite informative, especially since he analyzed my faults and focused on the basics like paddle control, follow through, and stance. Still, I need to keep working on integrating these habits into my play, though. I am not happy that AI or your website just summarized my previous feedback and said I could clear it all or edit it. I am a certified pickleball coach and instructor. I received my certification through Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR). I also coach and instruct approximately 33 people which includes kids through adults and varies in skill levels. Every 2nd 4th Saturday of the month, as well as meet at various local parks weekly.

From rain-soaked practices to match-day focus, I bring 20 years teaching soccer, combining tactical acumen, technical refinement, and individualized development plans. I foster confidence, teamwork, and smart play in a disciplined yet encouraging environment.

Born in China and I came to the US when I was 15. I joined local swim team in Beijing when I was 7, I won 6 first place in regional competition when I was 12. I started playing basketball at 13, at the same time, I was recommended by middle school coach to run track, 100 meter, 200 meter, 300 hurdle, 4x100 and 4x400. In 2018 I was in the state meet competing. I was not the most physically gifted runner so I had to study the forms, techniques. I love the game of basketball and I experienced basketball from both cultures. I played JV in middle school and Varsity in High school, I played shooting guard position. Being not the most physically gifted, I had to work extra hard on my skills, understanding the game. I truly believe coaching track, swimming, basketball or any sports is bigger/more than just teaching youngsters the skills, it’s about life, lessons we learn from playing sports, spending time and energy to understand each other and one self. With 14 years of basketball instruction, I cultivate skills and passion on the court. I provide tailored coaching and unlock player potential through expert guidance and personalized training. I foster a positive and focused environment.

I coach tennis by focusing on the fundamentals, like proper grip, mindful footwork, and simple, consistent strokes. I keep lessons upbeat and patient, adjust to the player’s level, and work on confidence and consistency as much as technique.

I coached softball and baseball for 10 total years (8-14 years old). I was a club baseball (Emerson Bandits) head coach for 3 years (14-16u). In the last 5 years I was an assistant varsity softball coach for 4 years at Westwood High School and last year I was named head varsity basbeall coach at Bergenfield High School. We won the BIT tournament in my first year and had a big turnaround season for that program. I have taught hitting for the past decade to all ages I am also a personal trainer for the past 25 years and I have owned a personal training facility for the past 19 years. Justin Wesley is a former Division I athlete at The University of Kansas, where he played From 2010-2014 as part of one of college basketball's storied programs under coach Bill Self.

I've grown up playing tennis since age 4, climbed up to a top 50 player in texas U16, reached a 10 UTR and played line 1 for my Varsity HS team. Went to Ucla and began coaching over 15 kids. I coached kids of all skill levels, but my style of coaching mainly benefits kids who are looking to hit a lot of balls and play points/sets. Obviously I tailor my coaching to all skill levels, but those looking for more intense hitting will benefit more.
