Kevin Du is a New York–based Chinese-American pianist, composer, and bandleader whose work reflects a multicultural upbringing and deep roots in both classical and jazz traditions. His music blends diverse influences with a commitment to lyricism, authenticity, and emotional depth. Kevin graduated with highest honors from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging and is currently completing his Master’s at New York University, studying with leading figures in the New York jazz scene. His debut album, Somewhere, a Butterfly Sings, is set for release in May 2026. He also leads his own trio, performing original music at established venues throughout the city.

I’m a tennis player and coach currently attending the University of California, Irvine (UCI). I was a 2-year captain of my high school tennis team, earned All-League honors twice, and helped lead my team to two league championships. I’ve worked as a hitting partner at Yonkers Tennis. I’ve also given independent tennis lessons to kids and adults of all ages, and I really enjoy working with kids and helping them build confidence and improve their game. I am teaching tennis to help pay for college.

Tennis coaching is my passion, but when I'm not on the court, you'll likely find me immersed in the world of cinema. I'm particularly proud of my film "ETHEREAL," which has played at various film festivals. Balancing my love for both sports and the arts is what makes my life truly vibrant and fulfilling.
