I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old in Brazil. I got to #12 in the country U16 and #800 in the world U18. I later played at UAB (D1 college) where I was the captain of the tennis team. During the summers I would teach large groups from all ages and private lessons as well. I love to be able to teach someone the proper technique to maximize their potential and I care a lot about my students. I have experience in clay and hard courts and I would say my style of play is lots of spin, consistency, energy, and focus on the serve. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.
"Honestly, I felt like I made progress with Giovani's lesson since I’m actually seeing more techniques coming together .

With 14 years of experience, I focus entirely on practical scoring rather than rebuilding your swing from scratch. For the first week, we zero in strictly on mastering the 130-yard shot—because dialing in that single yardage is the fastest way to stop leaking strokes and finally break 100 or 90. We evaluate your game right out on the course, tackling short-game precision, course management, and repeatable swing mechanics. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player looking to shave off those last few strokes, my lessons are tailored, structured, and designed to deliver real results.
"Apparently the only thing that is not missing the ball he got me to hit the ball and it felt beautiful and i was so grateful for how he was to me he made me fell like i was the golfer.

I was a top 50-ranked tennis player in India before injuries forced me to stop playing competitively after the U18 level. My experience at the national level has given me a deep understanding of the game, both on a technical and strategic level, which I now bring to my coaching. I’m passionate about helping players improve and achieve their best, using the insights I’ve gained from years of high-level competition.
"Vikram’s lesson was quite helpful, especially in refining my serve and footwork. I appreciated learning specific drills that boosted my confidence on the court.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, I’ll tailor every session to your goals.

"I have been having a great experience taking pickleball lessons from Jean. He’s calm and unassuming, not eager to show his skills and rather, teaches me basic skills that’re specifically for my needs. He gives me balls that are good trainings for my skill development, and alternating those with occasional instructions and tips, and more challenging balls. I look forward to gaining more skills at the next lesson!

"This was more than a lesson. My son has been playing street basketball for years and with his instructor’s support he has become more accurate and a better defender. If you want to support your kid and get better at a skill I recommend this amazing coach.

Currently, I am the Chief Operator of Grit Athletics Performance Strength and Co-Operator of SAYA (student athlete youth academy), both based in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts. I am also the Defensive Coordinator at Lawrence HS (Lawrence, MA). I train mainly in Methuen and am also able to come to You! My goal is to help You, as an athlete or your team fill in the "g.a.p.s." in your (their) game. It is my belief that most football players can elevate their game with a shift to more skill work, pertinent to their position(s), and going through the process of becoming a true student of the game; players tend to execute "faster" and more consistently when they understand the details of the game, while also mastering the basics and fundamentals. My football coaching and training experience has spanned the NFL, semi-pro, college, high school, and middle school levels. In the professional arena, I have been a strength and conditioning coach for the Washington Redskins. I have been a strength, speed, and conditioning coach at Georgetown University; my teams have included Football, Men’s Lacrosse, Baseball, Women’s Soccer, Softball, Crew, Men’s and Women’s Track, Swimming and Diving, and Men’s Soccer. At the high school level, I have assumed roles as a Head Football Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, and a positional coach (Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs, and Linebackers); off the gridiron, I have been a physical education teacher, strength and conditioning coach and student adviser. I also have trained and coached at the middle school level: football, basketball, and physical education. I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Typical age groups include collegiate, high school, and middle school athletes. What makes me different? I have a effective and proven process to meet athletes where they are at and execute a game plan to elevate their ability, while building their growth, character, and football IQ! My role is to serve each athlete and assist their respective journeys. Thank You!
"“My son has attended many camps during his high school football career and many don’t even compare to the 3 sessions he had with my son….the only complaint I have is that I didn’t find Coach Dawon sooner!!”
