While training, Christen took an interest in the chakra system and how healing the emotional body has a tremendous effect on a person's physical well being so she has created a niche in chakra healing and chakra psychology. With this in mind, Christen's classes can be themed around healing one of the 7 chakras through Asana, Kriya, Pranayama, mudra, and some dharma talk. Hello, my name is Travis and my primary goal is to help each student learn the piano in a way that makes sense for them and is fun. I teach a hybrid of classical training (note reading, finger dexterity, music theory) and learning by mimicry/ear. I teach all student types from ages 6 - 106. A typical first lesson for new beginners includes learning the layout of the piano, key names, and other basic info.
