Hans Chen is a Boston-based drummer and educator currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Drum Set Performance at Berklee College of Music. Specializing in Hip-Hop, Funk, Rock, and Pop, he has six years of drumming experience, has taught private students ages 6–18, and has performed at venues including House of Blues. His teaching emphasizes groove, improvisation, musicality, and building confidence through performance.

As a multilingual educator fluent in English, French, and Mandarin Chinese, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to every lesson that goes far beyond grammar and vocabulary. I hold a BA in Music from Wesleyan University and have passed the Massachusetts MTEL in French.
