I’m Alexis Coates, a golf coach, regional champion, low-handicap player, and author of 51 Golf Tips. With more than 15 years of coaching experience, I help golfers—from beginners to experienced players—build confidence, develop consistency, and enjoy the game. My approach combines sound fundamentals with instruction tailored to your goals and learning style. We focus on practical improvements in your swing, putting, short game, and course management, while building the mental discipline to make better decisions under pressure. Whether you’re picking up a club for the first time, working to break 90, or preparing for tournament play, you can expect patient guidance, honest feedback, and clear steps to practice between lessons. My goal is to help you understand your game and step onto the course with confidence.
"Oh, my last lesson with Alexis was quite useful, especially in learning three swings with my short irons, high shots, lower ones, and recovery. I focused on centering the ball on the face, a six-inch takeaway, and relaxing my hands. Still, I think a bit more work on driver consistency and short game would be helpful, but I’ve got some good foundation now. If you're interested, Alexis can definitely help build a broader skill set.
