I am a local Baltimore tennis coach with over 15 years of playing experience and over 5 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I have played in many ITF (International Tennis Federation) professional tournaments in different African countries and in Europe. Teaching and playing tennis is one of my biggest passions! I captained my college tennis team in Kansas before I transferred to Coppin State University which is a Division 1 school in Baltimore, Maryland. The past 3 summers I have worked at different summer camps where I taught countless tennis lessons to kids. I have also been working for the Baltimore Tennis Patron where I teach kids, teens and adults.

Lester Chavez hails from the Tidewater VA area with over 35 years of coaching experience. Throughout his career, Coach Lester has served as Director of Tennis at the Montgomery Sports Association, Head Coach at Tennis Centeal, Head Coach at Holton Arms and Georgetown Visitation. He played NCAA II tennis for the Washington Adventist University as a student (Business Admin. Management/Marketing), player and Head Coach.

6’9 athlete. I have some experience on the college and pro level. I’ve played against some of the best including current NBA players. I’ve had the opportunity to coach youth basketball during the summer in recent years. I’ve worked with autistic kids for 6+ months in 2024. As a former 4-year college football starter playing 3 years at the Division II level and 1 year at the Division I FBS level, then getting the opportunity to participate in Baltimore Ravens minicamp.
