I am a graduate of Georgia Tech with my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and I am a graduate of Strayer Univeraity with my Master’s degree in Education. I enjoy helping students experience the ah-ha moment where they begin to understand. I am a patient teacher who will allow you to think and solve problems in different ways. I enjoy the creativity of math and seek to help others enjoy Math also. . I look forward to helping you succeed!

When I’m not coaching I’m competing in national tournaments. I’m a 3x Nationals medalist. Most recently taking Gold in Men’s doubles and Silver in MXD. I emphasize learning and understanding the fundamentals of mathematics, rather than encouraging student to memorize shortcuts and 'tricks.' When you have a strong grasp on the principles, the 'tricks' become obvious and you have the skills and confidence needed to approach problems in a number of different ways. I have a BS in Physics, and a great deal of experience with theoretical and applied mathematics. This is very helpful in connecting mathematical problems with real world applications.
