I'm a classically trained pianist and cellist with over a decade of conservatory education at the National School of the Arts in Havana, Cuba. I've taught cello and music theory to students ranging from ages 8 to adult, and I also play guitar, electric bass, and have deep training in harmony, solfège, and counterpoint. I believe every lesson should leave students more curious about music than when they arrived. I work with beginners through advanced students of all ages.

I was born in Cuba. I earned a degree in Education and worked as a High School teacher. I emigrated to Costa Rica, revalidated my teaching credentials and taught in Elementary schools. I later immigrated to de USA and studied Radiologic Technology. Today I work at Baptist Hospital as an Xray, Bone Density and Mammography Technologist. I have continued my passion for education by providing Spanish and Math tutoring to students of all ages.

With a lifelong love affair with rock 'n roll, I've been strumming my guitar to the tunes of the 60s through the 90s for as long as I can remember. From jamming in bar bands across New York to rocking out with friends in sunny Florida, music has been the soundtrack of my life. Along the way, I've been fortunate to learn from some incredible artists who have shaped my musical journey. Fluent in both the language of music and Spanish, I call Hollywood Beach my home, where I continue to live and breathe the rhythm and energy of rock 'n roll every single day.
