Hi, I’m Maria, a fluent Spanish-English bilingual tutor who loves helping students feel comfortable and confident speaking Spanish. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and conversational. In a first lesson, I like to get to know the student, understand their goals and current level, and have a relaxed conversation so I can see where they feel comfortable and where they may need extra support. My goal is for every student to leave a lesson feeling like they learned something useful.

Each lesson is an invitation to think, speak, and connect in español: I bring 20 years of dedicated Spanish teaching experience. I combine rigorous grammar, practical conversation, and cultural insight with patient guidance and a warm, engaging approach to build confident, fluent speakers.

I have coached middle, high school and college basketball players. I have coached players from all levels. My Boston Prep AAU team had D1, D2 and D3 players. I have “Coach of the Year” awards in the City of Boston and NYC. I won the New England college Coach of the Year and my first team was the Most Improved College team in New England College Basketball. I help you develop a championship mindset, habits and skills on the offensive and defensive. Special attention given to your Bball IQ.

I have went through a radical health transformation 10 years ago when I moved to Miami, Florida, quitting alcohol, nightlife, cigarettes and dropped 30 pounds, through developing a daily holistic health routine including breathwork, meditation, strength training, running, swimming, yoga, prayer, water fasting etc. I am also an author of two books. Ever since, my purpose is to help people find their purpose, and incorporate a healthy lifestyle, eliminate stress, lose weight, and anything wellness.
