I am a current professional tennis player and competed in USF’s lineup for 4 years. I have 7 years of coaching experience, where I apply my experience of competing and coaching myself on the tour to help others. I have done well over a thousand hours of coaching in my life, and I have coached players at all levels and ages, from young beginners, to adults and current travelling juniors. I’m a very technical coach and bring high energy to my sessions to help players feel passion and enthusiastic.

My name is Thais Reiss. I am a Brazilian professional soccer player with experience playing in the U.S. and Europe. I love soccer and enjoy coaching because I love helping players improve, build confidence, and have fun while learning the game. I believe soccer should be a positive experience where players can develop their skills, enjoy themselves, and fall in love with the sport.

With several years of teaching experience, I combine technical mastery of stroke mechanics, safety-focused instruction, and tailored plans to build confident swimmers. I am an approachable coach, passionate about fostering resilience, enjoyment, and measurable improvement in every student.

I can teach any and all age ranges. I can do basic to intermediate clinics. I can also do one on one lessons for ironing out parts of your game that may need some work.

Michael-Ray Pallares, the Director of Coach Training and Education for the UPT, is a former professional tennis player from the Dominican Republic. As a player, he was a two-time USTA national champion as a junior, received a full scholarship to play at the University of Alabama, ranked Top 10 in NCAA Division 1 tennis and held an ATP ranking for more than ten years while representing his country in the Davis Cup and the Central American and Caribbean Games. Michael-Ray has traveled extensively as a professional tour coach and/or sparring partner for several ATP and WTA players ranked top 10 in the world. He also served as Technical Director of the Panamanian Tennis Federation, Turkmenistan Tennis Federation and the Guam National Tennis Federation as an Expert Coach for the International Tennis Federation undertaking the Development of National Sport Structure, creating an action plan to strengthen the tennis program approved by the International Olympic Committee and Olympic Solidarity. He is now promoting the game of tennis worldwide through his foundation, One Love Tennis and the UPT coach education platform.
