I’ve been teaching Pickleball as a PPR certified instructor since October 2023, and I’m also a competitive player who’s won tournament medals. I’m excited to help players of all levels reach their full potential. I’m here to guide you through drills and ensure you truly understand and enjoy the game. 10+ years of experience coaching teams as well as 1 on 1 and small group settings. Helped players from ages 5-18 get on their school teams as well as travel teams. I work on finding weaknesses in players as well and focusing on footwork and specific skill development in what ever position the player is in. First session will be series of assessment’s to find and locate players weaknesses but high level players should know what they are already

With a journey in tennis that began at age 10 and a current 4.0 UTR rating, my dedication to the sport has never waned. Now at 58, I'm playing the finest tennis of my life, having clinched my first tournament win at 35. Every morning, I commit two hours to honing my skills with targeted drills alongside a fellow tennis enthusiast. Since embarking on my coaching journey in 2023, I bring a deep-seated passion for the game to every lesson. My goal? To inspire and play until I reach a century on the court! :)

I’m Derrick, an 20 year old 5.0+ Pickleball player (Playing in APP/PPA pro qualifiers soon!) based out of South Florida! In the past I’ve played tennis, table tennis, badminton, as well as a couple of other sports. I have coaching experience from tennis and bowling. But I want to teach the sport I’m most interested in, Pickleball! Excited to get on the court together. Heads up! Although I did do commercials Professor Pickleball. I specialize in developing a solid and well thought out game. Although the process is slower early on, the better you get the easier it will be to get better! My best shots are my drops/resets and my backhand flicks. And my playstyle is a very shifty “joker” style of play. I am also quite flexible with times and locations as long as there is a court open in the area!
