A former football player turned coach, Joshua Heavrin is the Founder and Head Coach of the UTampa Men’s Flag Football program and Competitive Team Countdown Flag Football. Since 2022, he has coached over 100+ athletes, helped host collegiate tournaments, and led teams to major achievements including a League Championship in Summer 2025, Two—2nd Place finishes at the Raymond James Tournament’s, NIRSA collegiate tournaments, USA Flag hosted events, and the Universities First World Championship appearance recognized by Guinness World Records. Committed to player development and community involvement & impact—raising $4,800+ for Special Olympics Florida—Coach Heavrin offers private lessons that build fundamentals, sharpen game IQ, and prepare athletes to compete at their highest level.

With a lifelong love for racket sports, beginning with tennis at the age of 8, I bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the pickleball court. I coach players of all levels, focusing on improving their fundamentals, shot selection, and overall game awareness.
