I’m an active youth baseball coach and the Director of T-Ball & Machine Pitch for Monarch Little League in Louisville, Colorado. As a dad of two boys under 10 who both play baseball, I’m deeply involved in the game both on and off the field. I love helping kids develop their skills, build confidence, and discover just how fun baseball can be.

I’m Ethan Kang, a college baseball player at Colorado Christian University with 18 years of playing experience. I have a passion for helping players sharpen their hitting and fielding skills through personalized private lessons. I specialize in breaking down film to identify areas for improvement and teaching the mental side of baseball to help athletes build confidence, focus, and a winning mindset. My coaching approach combines technical skill development with mental preparation, ensuring you improve not just physically but also mentally. As a former Division 1 golfer at The Ohio State University, golf has been integral to my life for over 15 years. With a scratch handicap and a peak performance of +4, I've honed my skills to excel on the course. Instructing part-time for the past 5 years, I've discovered a deep passion for teaching golf and sharing my knowledge with others. Whether coaching beginners or fine-tuning the skills of experienced players, my goal is to help each find their love for the game and unlock their full potential on the fairways.

I have 17 years of baseball experience, including pitching and playing outfield at the college level. During my career, I had the opportunity to learn from some incredible coaches who shaped the way I see the game. I worked with two former MLB hitting coaches, Tyler Holt and Brad Wilkerson, who taught me the details of hitting mechanics, approach, and preparation at a professional level. On the pitching side, I was coached by Tommy Boss, a former University of Florida standout, whose knowledge of the game and leadership on the mound helped me refine my pitching and understand the mental toughness it takes to compete. My background as a two-way player gives me a unique perspective that I now bring into coaching. I know the grind of balancing both sides of the game and the work it takes to succeed. My goal is to use that experience to help players develop their skills, grow their confidence, and maximize their potential both on and off the field.

I am a teacher by profession. After teaching science 18 years in South Korea, Mexico City, and Denver, i found pickleball in 2017. I was hooked right away and started filming my tournaments to improve. I achieved my goal of making it to Nationals and have won many medals in Men’s, Mixed, and Singles. Pickleball is my life’s passion, and I have now pivoted to teaching pickleball at Gates Tennis Center. I can help you elevate your game through active play, effective analysis, and coaching. I've grown up playing tennis, having been taught and coached by my dad starting at the age of six. I played JV and varsity in high school and continued playing on the club competitive team in college. Over the years, I've helped friends with their groundstrokes and volleys, and now I want to gain more teaching and coaching experience so that I can one day teach my kids.

From receiving repeat special invitations to prestigious events like the Golfweek US Senior Challenge to participating in PGA-sanctioned events, I've now transitioned into coaching. Hailing from Ventura County, CA, I developed an enduring love for the game from a young age. Today, I find myself even more passionate about golf, honored to coach others professionally. With a respectful, easy to follow instruction, I've lowered my handicap a few strokes in a very short period (3 lessons). But more so than the swing lesson, I learned about course management.
