I've been surfing for about 10 years, having competed in the shortboard division on my high school surf team. I primarily ride short boards, ranging from thrusters to twin fins, but I also have experience with longboarding and other alternative shapes. As an avid surfer, I hit the waves daily whenever conditions are good. Over the past 5 years, I've enjoyed teaching many friends how to surf and sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport.
"That lesson with Cole was quite good, honestly. The focus on improving my technique was quite helpful, and I feel more confident on the board now. Though I still need to work on timing, I’m hopeful with more practice, I’ll get there. Still, I appreciated the relaxed but attentive vibe Cole creates, which made learning feel natural. If you're into steady progress without the hype, I’d recommend giving it a try.

"I think Hannah's lesson was quite helpful and felt well balanced overall, with clear guidance that didn't feel rushed. Though, I would have appreciated a little more emphasis on my serve, but I still believe there's room to improve, and Hannah's approachable style makes me optimistic about future sessions. If you're aiming for steady progress with a coach who keeps things straightforward, you might want to consider giving her a try.
