I'm not the best player but the skills involved in chess is calculation defensive and attack moves and expected opponent move using different pieces to test opponents defense and lure the opponent into opening a defensive posture and choice of attack strategy. I've played chess for 20 years and can teach many strategies for all skill levels and prepare you for challenging games .

Christina Wang I began my musical journey at the age of 5 with classical piano, and since high school, I have expanded my skills to include singing, dancing, and theater. I hold a graduate degree in music from the University of California, Berkeley, and have had the privilege of participating in various musical ensembles—ranging from university choir and orchestra to chamber choirs and small ensembles. With over 23 years of teaching experience, I have had the honor of guiding students through their own musical paths. As a teacher, I pride myself on being organized, patient, encouraging, and fun. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to tailor my approach to each student's unique needs. The moment when a student experiences that breakthrough and everything "clicks" is what fuels my passion for teaching. Growing up in San Francisco I’ve competed at all levels from going to nationals to winning all City single champions, and all City team championships for the past four years. With over 15 years of basketball experience, I bring a lifelong passion for the game both on and off the court. I began my journey playing competitive AAU travel basketball, gaining exposure to high level competition and elite training environments. Throughout high school, I was a four-year varsity basketball athlete, where I developed leadership skills, a deep understanding of team dynamics, and a strong work ethic that continues to define my approach to the sport. My passion for basketball extends beyond playing. I’ve spent several years giving back through youth coaching. I previously coached at the Boys & Girls Club and with i9 Sports, where I helped young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. My coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, and positive mentorship, creating a supportive and structured environment for players to grow both on and off the court.
