My passion lies in helping others discover the joy of riding waves, building confidence and technique from beginner to intermediate. I tailor each lesson to individual needs. I also do a lot of one-on-one sessions externally in person if that’s ever something you’re into. I’d love to be a part of your progress.

I’m a recent graduate from UCSB with over 16 years of competitive tennis experience, including playing at the Division I level and leading the UCSB Club Tennis team. Through my time as both a player and captain, I’ve gained extensive experience coaching and mentoring athletes of all skill levels. I also offer hitting practice, including match play and point-based drills to simulate real competition. I am flexible in my availability and willing to travel.

I’ve played tennis all my life, always having access to courts and developing a deep appreciation for the sport's unique rhythm and strategy. I believe that each player should develop their own style because we’re all different. My dad, a math, tennis, and boxing instructor, taught me that these disciplines share a lot in common. Mastering tennis is about perfecting your shots, serves, slices, and footwork, but it ultimately comes down to the mental game. On the court, you learn the "equations" of actions and behaviors needed to outplay your opponent, turning each match into an artful challenge of skill and technique. For me, tennis is about the joy of the game, not just winning or losing. It's a sport that starts with love and ends with respect—whether through a handshake, a hug, or a simple nod if you're too sweaty. Most importantly, tennis is always a good time, and it’s a lifelong sport that can help you live healthier and longer!

Hi, I’m Jen, a 5.0 rated pickleball player and PPR Certified Level 2 Instructor. I’ve taught 200+ lessons and specialize in helping players improve quickly while enjoying the game. Whether you are brand new or looking to level up, I focus on strong fundamentals, smart strategy, and simple techniques that translate directly into real match play. No confusing advice or bad habits, just clear coaching that helps you build confidence and see measurable progress. My goal is for every student to leave with clarity, confidence, and skills they can use right away on the court!

My journey in golf began at age five, competing in tournaments by age nine. I proudly represented Davis Senior High School's Varsity golf team for all four years. Although I didn't make the cut for the University of Oregon's D1 golf team, my passion for the sport remained undiminished. During high school, I shared my love for golf by coaching kids at the Golf and Splash summer camp in Davis. Now, I'm committed to regular practice, striving to lower my index back to scratch.

I’m a 3-handicap golfer with experience playing high school golf, working junior golf camps, and helping golfers break into the 80s. While I’m new to organized coaching, I enjoy helping everyday golfers improve and have more fun on the course. I offer both range lessons and on-course coaching, focusing on course management, smart decisions, the mental game, and practical swing improvements to help you lower your scores and play with confidence.
