Five years ago, during the pandemic, I began playing pickleball regularly, quickly falling in love with the sport. Over the past two years, I've immersed myself in the game, playing, drilling, and competing in tournaments up to four times per week. While unofficially coaching beginners during this time, my passion for pickleball has grown immensely, driving me to train towards becoming a senior pickleball professional. Currently rated around 4.1 on the DUPR rating scale, I actively participate in advanced tournaments, aiming to elevate my skills further on the path to achieving my professional goals. As a medical doctor, I see pickleball as embodying the values of health, happiness, and community, and I'm eager to share these aspects of the game with others.

I discovered my passion for tennis at the age of 10 and it quickly became my life's joy. Representing the Ukrainian school team was a dream come true. Tennis is not just a sport to me; it permeates every part of my life. My daughter follows in my footsteps as a tennis player, while my husband coaches the sport we all adore. For the past five years, I've been teaching tennis to children as young as three at my husband's tennis school, relishing in the progress and joy of every novice player, both young and old.

"Alright, my recent lesson with Liubov was quite helpful, especially since she pointed out specific details about my stroke that I hadn’t really paid attention to before. Though I still need to work on landing the ball more consistently, I felt like I made some steady progress. Still, I’m optimistic she’ll help me improve further over time. I started playing pickleball in 2014 and have been successful in local tournament play events. Due to my early experience, I started the pickleball program at my local tennis club in Scripps Ranch as it increased from 2 to 4 to 8 pickleball courts. From there, with the help of the tennis pro, we started with large groups (30 -40 players) for pickleball training sessions years ago until interrupted by the Covid pandemic. We were able to start training again in 2023 with our current expanded player base. For the last few years, I have continued with private training sessions at local recreation areas, parks and at résidences.

I have been coaching since 2018 I have been doing private 1 on 1 sessions and small group training for boys and girls aging from age 6 to current college athletes. I have the ability and skills to coach all ages in all positions I have coached athletes in Southern California as well as the DMV area. My main focus during training is to identify deficiencies in the athletes game to help them be a more complete player as well as help grow their strengths. Soccer is a beautiful sport and I enjoy passing on my skills and expertise down to the next generation of players to help them grow into their potential as well as continue helping them see the beauty of the game.

Hi I am coach Chris. I have been playing tennis since I started high school. I have been teaching it for over 10 years now. I teach all ages from very young to adults. I have worked with a group organization that teaches large groups as well as being the high school coach for Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale. I always teach with the intention to make it seem easier so that it is easy to pick up while trying to keep the game fun.
