Hi there, I am Coach Jenny, founder of Rise Soccer Training in Oakland. I moved from England in 2003 to coach and play soccer in the US. I have played and worked with many companies, teams and schools over the years and with children of all ages and abilities. I hold a UEFA B coaching license and I have had a lot of coaching work in different sports. I look forward to meeting with you.

Softball has been a lifelong passion of mine. As a two-time Hall of Fame inductee, three-time NFCA Division I All-American, and 2005 Women's College World Series participant (DePaul University), I've played and coached at many levels. Hi, My name is Kate. With over 25 years of experience, I have traveled and competed in professional tournaments all over the world. Throughout my career, I achieved a USTA National Ranking of #6, reached quarterfinal of the KPSF Open, earned an ITF ranking of 170, and a WTA ranking of 490. A full scholarship to the NCAA Division 1 university allowed me to continue my competitive career, where I achieved an ITA singles ranking of #18 in the nation and was honored as an Athlete of the Year.

I’ve had a passion for competitive golf from an early age, with achievements like winning the Peninsula Country Club Junior Championship in 1999 and holding records at Burlingame Country Club and Harding Park. I was ranked as the No. 1 player on a team with two future U.S. Open competitors and played for the UC Davis golf team in 2001 and 2002. I've trained with over 10 PGA professionals and attended the prestigious Jim McLean National Junior Summer Academy. With over three years of teaching junior golf, I love working with beginners and young players, while also running my own business, FORE Golf Towels.

I'm a creative engineer and educator‬‭ with 12 years experience across college instruction, software engineering, and machine learning (AI) research. I am an ordained Zen priest. I came to San Francisco from England in 2000, and spent fifteen years in residential zen training, including five years of monastic practice at Tassajara. I have been teaching formally for fifteen years, and guiding meditation for more than twenty. I love the formal rituals of Zen, but am also interested in reaching people who will never set foot in a Zen temple. These days I lead meditations in a variety of settings, and lead mindful hikes all over the city.
