I have been playing basketball for 30 years. I don't have the traditional journey of a basketball player. I wasn't given the chance. However, that never stopped me from sharpening my skills over the years by playing with and against better competition. Everything I learned was self-taught through repetition and observation. I’ve worked as a pin hitter majority of my career in high school and was a volunteer coach for our women’s team and a couple local clubs within the the 209 area. I’m usually pretty lax and joking but show my passion for volleyball through encouraging people to improve their reps and never settle. I’ve done well enough that I’ve managed to finish high school and even continue it into college. I’ve become well rounded in every position aside from libero.

I hold a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an M.A. in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. My journey at Stanford began as a certified personal trainer at the National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC) fitness center, and in 2017, I joined Stanford Health and Human Performance (HHP) as a PE golf instructor. Currently, I teach golf and Foundations of Health and Performance Psychology. I recently earned my Professional Golf Association apprentice status here at Stanford and am working towards becoming a PGA Class A Teaching Professional. My athletic background is diverse, including playing intercollegiate golf for Foothill College and American football at the University of Stirling in Scotland. Over the years, I've also enjoyed coaching youth sports, including basketball and golf.

"The lesson with Christopher was quite helpful, especially since he provided some pointers that I plan to work on, like improving my irons and wood shots. Though I still need more practice in those areas, I feel like I have a clearer idea of what to focus on. I guess I’ll just keep at it, though. I’ve been coaching many sports for several years. Mainly Flag Football and Tackle Football for 4+ years at many different levels. Not only have I coached it but i’ve played and been surrounded by it in any way imaginable from media, coaching, reffing, playing etc etc.
