Hi everyone! I’m Patrick a passionate tennis coach with 15+ years of experience helping players sharpen their technique and confidence. As a former competitive player, I understand what it takes to grow on the court. My coaching style is personalized, encouraging, and detail-oriented, designed to help each student elevate their game and ultimately enjoy the game that I love.

I use one the #1 swing training aids (pro sender) created Sean foley (past coach of Tiger Woods) and David Woods. { I have a simplified 3 part swing training to make any golfer better at the game. After proper stance and positioning I have simplified the entire swing to 3 easy steps} With a specialization in the short game, Ricardo's skills on the golf course have garnered admiration and respect from his peers. I bring a championship mindset and years of on-court experience to every athlete I train. As a former collegiate standout and professional player, I was a 2x PCAC Player of the Year, 2x All-State performer, and helped lead Southwestern College to a state-best 50–6 record before earning a scholarship to Cal Baptist. There, I helped capture a PacWest Championship and an NCAA Tournament berth. After competing professionally in Colombia and earning my Master’s in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific, I began my coaching career at Southwestern College. During my time there, I helped lead the program to three PCAC Championships, was named PCAC Coach of the Year in 2020, and coached 40 All-Conference players, with over 30 earning scholarships to four-year universities—including multiple Division I and professional athletes. Now, I use that same drive and attention to detail to help players and clients elevate their game, build confidence, and unlock their full potential—both physically and mentally.

I believe Pickleball can be more than just a pastime—it can be an engaging and rewarding part of your life. My approach to coaching focuses on key aspects of the game: comprehending fundamental rules, mastering vital techniques, and strategically engaging your opponent. I've been surfing for about 13 years and previously competed in the shortboard division on my high school surf team. I primarily ride short boards, ranging from thrusters to twin fins, but I also have experience with longboarding and other alternative shapes. As an avid surfer, I hit the waves daily whenever conditions are good. Over the past 5 years, I've enjoyed teaching many friends how to surf and sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport.

Will began competing in state and regional tournaments at 14, earning MVP honors in high school and holding the #1 singles spot for three years. He went on to play both singles and doubles for Allegheny College, continuing to sharpen his competitive edge. Recently relocated from Seattle to San Diego, Will is excited to share his passion for tennis with players of all levels. Off the court, he works in marketing, professional photography, and music production as a DJ.

With over 30 years of experience in tennis and fitness coaching, I'm a PTR-certified professional who has instructed players of all levels around the world. My diverse background includes directing tennis programs at prestigious locations like the Four Seasons in Marrakech and Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco and well known clubs and organizations such the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Program in Philadelphia, R.U.C and C.O.C in Casablanca, Morocco and many others. My passion for this amazing sport is contagious !
