If there is one improvement I have to state, it’s that the drop shot adjustments could be introduced better. Give them awareness that the balls can come at different height/different speeds first and then show them the techniques to handle such cases.

With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist with three Division 1 tennis championships and a Southern California CIF semifinal appearance. I currently teach at Mulholland Hills Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy and have previously worked as a Special Education instructor, Registered Behavior Therapist, Adaptive Skills Clinician, Mobility Trainer, and Physical Therapist Aide. I hold a Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Biomechanics. My students have earned medals from the 2.5–4.5 levels and qualified for USA Pickleball Nationals. I earned my first PTR certification at the age of 12 and have continued to advance through multiple licensing levels. As a player, I served as high school team captain and later competed as the top seed during my college career in the UK.
