With 25 years of playing experience and 13 years of coaching, I have worked with over 500 students of all ages and skill levels through private lessons, group programs, and summer camps. I competed semi-professionally on the UK Junior Circuit and received elite training from Nick Bollettieri at The Harbour Club in Chelsea, London. I earned my first PTR certification at the age of 12 and have continued to advance through multiple licensing levels. As a player, I served as high school team captain and later competed as the top seed during my college career in the UK. My coaching style is down-to-earth, supportive, and adaptable, allowing me to work effectively with beginners through advanced players. I am deeply passionate about tennis and about helping others grow—whether that means taking your game to the next level or inspiring a lifelong love for the sport.

My journey with tennis began in childhood, playing with my grandmother, which sparked my passion and led me to join high school and college teams. Since then, I've maintained a regular schedule of playing several times a week. I've also enjoyed teaching numerous beginners, adept at starting players from scratch and guiding them through their tennis journey.

I have been playing pickleball since early 2022 and received my PPR Associate Coach certification in June of 2023. I have prior teaching experience in dance and gymnastics as a young adult. "Second lesson with Alex Lee and the progress is real. This time he focused on creating a relaxing foundation for how to hit powerful shots using my whole body. Instead of muscling the ball, he showed me how to let my hips, legs, arms and toes work together to generate power. He gave me clear cues that clicked right away. I could apply them in the next rally and actually receive praise from him on the spot, which helped me lock in the feeling. The greatest thing about this lesson was the shift from being a tense player chasing after every ball to being a relaxed player staying on my toes, moving toward the ball early and hitting a powerful shot that looks effortless. He would identify and mark the shots that looked effortless and have me pause to feel what my whole body was doing on good contact. Now I know exactly what that connected feeling is supposed to feel like. On top of that, the lesson showed me what flow state looks like when I am relaxed. Everything makes sense, you feel totally connected with your paddle and the ball, and the game just slows down.

Hi, my name is Aaron. Tennis has been a lifelong passion of mine. Growing up in Northern Virginia, I started playing when I was just four years old. By the time I was a teenager, I was ranked Top 5 in Virginia for my age group (15–18) and finished as a Top 20 junior in the Mid-Atlantic region, competing in national tournaments across the country. Along the way, I trained with some of the best coaches in the U.S., including a mentor who also worked with Frances Tiafoe during his junior development at College Park. In 2018, I moved to California to play collegiate tennis at California Lutheran University (CLU), where I competed for four years and served as team captain my senior year, reaching an 11 UTR. Off the court, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business and Sports Management, and I recently completed my MBA. I’ve been coaching part- and full-time since 2021, working with players of all ages and skill levels. My goal as a coach is to make the game enjoyable, while helping players build strong fundamentals, improve strategy, and develop confidence on the court.
