I have been playing golf all my life, beginning with the First Tee program, which taught me that golf is more than a sport—it's a way to carry yourself, conduct business, and much more. The program instilled values such as courtesy, respect, integrity, sportsmanship, honesty, and confidence, which I live by and which have helped me throughout my golfing journey. I have competed at many levels, including SCPGA, AJGA, mini tours like the Pepsi Tour, and college golf, experiencing the game in various settings. Golf has taken me all over, and I love helping others discover and enjoy the sport.

For 34 years as a teacher and coach I have been passionate about helping students grow in their confidence and skills. Recently, as a PPR-Certified member of the pickleball coaching team at Pinewood Country Club, I have been blessed to be able to merge my gift of teaching with my passion for pickleball. I've been playing Pickleball for close to 20 years and didn't have anyone to teach me back then except other players so I formed some bad habits. Some of those I have fixed but still in the process of breaking the rest.
