“Jimmy's lesson was very engaging and focused on the basics my daughter needs. After watching their session, I feel that my daughter is more aware of how to move better on the court. The lesson had a good balance of tips and drills, which was quite helpful to her. He also asked if she had any questions before moving on. My daughter had an amazing time at her first lesson.”Charmaine C., parent

About JimmyI picked up tennis as a middle schooler, played as a high schooler and enjoyed it competitively into both college (recreational) and during active duty. I continue to play, learn and tutor my children. I also had the honor of coaching elementary and middle school children as a Senior in high school. My desire to coach is in inspiring the next generation in this wonderful sport. Elaborating; my more competitive years were from 1994-1997 where I would compete across the state of Oklahoma in numerous USTA tournaments. Additionally, our high school hosted and participated in weekly matches and tournaments during the fall and spring school semesters. On a personal level, I am a Christian, husband, father, and hobbies are numerous because I’m an adventurous guy (tennis, golf, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, mountain and trail hiking, Astronomy). Professionally, I completed my Master’s Degree in 2016 & recently my PMP Certification (Project Management Professional). Security+ (CE) certified. Additionally, I coached Jr. Flag football (6 seasons), Jr. Volleyball (1 season) & Little League Baseball (2 seasons). My MinistrySafe Background Church sponsored by First Baptist Church of Georgetown (TX) was renewed as of July 2025 which included specific training in Sexual Assault Prevention and Reporting. TMT has a copy of the previous background annual check. During the week of 21-25 July 2025, I volunteered and served as the Small Group Leader for one of the 4th & 5th grades boys and girls (16 children; 2 supporting volunteers). 2025 RECAP: 30 Different Students 173 Lessons of Varying Player Levels Age Groups included: -Young children -Teenagers -AdultsGo to profile

From watching Coach Jimmy give lessons to my son for the past two months, I can see that he has a sincere desire to see each of his students progress. He is patient, kind, friendly, and approachable. Coach Jimmy gives detailed notes and videos so students are aware of what they should practice and how they can improve. Great teacher!! He was there early and we got to meet each other before the training. He gave me some suggestions that I liked. He seems passionate about tennis also, and has been playing for many years which is what I was looking for. Definitely worth what you pay for. I’m gonna be training with him for a couple of months, I think, until I feel like I can play competitively with other people. I recommend him.

As an adult beginner who wants to learn how to play causally with friends, Piyush has helped me better understand the game. He is very patient when I have questions. As a result of my lessons, I have better awareness of the game and how to respond. He’s good at changing his pace to accommodate my learning while also encouraging me to learn new things.
