Hi, I'm Bahman! For 33 years, tennis has been a significant part of my life. But over the past 5 years, I have transitioned into a 4.5 rated Pickleball player. With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist and three Division 1 championships, and reaching the Southern California Semi-finals of CIF in tennis. A teaching professional at Braemar Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy, a former Special Education instructor, registered behavior therapist, adaptive skills clinician, mobility trainer, and physical therapist aide, and I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and Biomechanics. Around five years back, I fell head over heels for this addictive sport after years of USTA tennis. Recognizing the nuanced finesse required in pickleball, I pursued proper training, eager to bridge the gap for players transitioning from other sports. As a senior player, I've found pickleball to offer an incredible workout with less strain on the body. That's why I became a certified coach through the Professional Pickleball Registry, dedicated to teaching the game cohesively and joyfully.
