“Jensen has amazing humor, throughout the lesson he made sure to keep a smile on my daughter’s face! He is very patient, and passionate. My daughter and I have both seen a major improvement since the first lesson.”Sarah (., parentAbout JensenI’ve spent over twenty years studying and teaching the true mechanics behind a powerful golf swing.
My coaching goes far beyond “copy this angle” or “hold the club like that.” I help golfers understand where power comes from, how speed is created, how rhythm is controlled, and how to remain mentally steady under pressure.
My approach blends psychology, physiology, and physical mechanics with the principles of Taichi and meditation. This fusion helps players move with clarity, relax unnecessary tension, and generate natural, efficient power.
My writing on this philosophy has also been featured in Golf Digest.
Every golfer is built differently—different height, body shape, flexibility, rotation speed—so every swing I teach is uniquely tailored. I focus on giving players the tools to self-adjust and self-improve, instead of relying on rigid, mechanical “positions” that only work when perfectly copied.
If you want to truly understand your swing—not just imitate one—I can help you rebuild your game from the inside out.
(I also hold certifications with US Kids Golf and the Positive Coaching Alliance.)Go to profileJensen C.
“These lessons are for my 12 year old daughter, who is particular about her golf coaches. Mark meet and exceeded her expectations and had her hitting hybrids better then she ever has before after the first lesson. I can't wait to she how her swings develops further under Mark's guidance. Mark is punctual and focused. There is no wasted time; it helps that he's close by and flexible with his schedule. I'm looking forward to our next lesson and beyond.”Shaun C., parentAbout MarkMy name is Mark Kita, and what's unique about my offering is that I tailor my instruction to that person. Shape, size, flexibility, age, what they're trying to accomplish. A student will learn the five fundamentals of golf, how to hit the ball Into the fairway and to enjoy a good round of golf.Go to profileMark K.
