Coach Erick is an experienced educator and mentor with over 12 years in the sport of basketball. On the court, he focuses on developing disciplined, resilient, and team-oriented athletes through skill development, leadership, and accountability. His approach emphasizes character, confidence, and competitive excellence both on and off the court along with having the philosophy to build these student-athletes to not only succeed in competition, but in life as well.

"Coach taught me how to really show up for my team. He gave me a lot of tips, moves to work on, and we even broke down scouting reports together on the bigs I had to guard. He always kept the main goal the main goal. Off the court, he helped me grow as a person and taught me how to stay composed. Coach was like one of my homies — we could talk about anything, good or bad. He was always there for me.

For two decades, I've cultivated basketball, volleyball and soccer skills in players of all levels. With a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration and collegiate athletic experience I am confident I will be building confidence, and instilling a lifelong love for the game for athletes of all ages. With 4 years devoted to my college playing career and coaching for 3 years, I foster skill development through tailored training. I was a three point specialist and love to teach shooting mechanics. I hold my college and high school program records for threes made in a single game. My passion lies in creating leaders on and off the court while nurturing their athletic potential. I’ve had the privilege to learn under great coaches and players, to name a few: Brandon Osborne (Genesis Athletics), Zach Urbanus (Texas Pro Academy), Keith Spencer (Kingdom Performance).
