As the founder of Signature Style Training, I’ve worked with a wide range of athletes—from elementary and middle school players to high school, collegiate, and professional talent—offering personalized training plans that elevate both skill and confidence. I’ve also had the opportunity to coach on the girls’ side of the sport, bringing a well-rounded and inclusive perspective to my training approach. My sessions blend discipline with energy, creating a structured yet enjoyable environment where players can grow, compete, and thrive. Through every interaction, I aim to build not only stronger athletes but stronger individuals.

I'm knowledgeable about the sport. I started coaching girls middle school at the age of 20 till i was about 33 years of age and also highschhol AAU during the summers with Houston Hoops select team. I’m still very active in the sport and a student of the game because I love it. I start off with the basics, fundamentals…we get that down everything else becomes easy. I specialize in shooting and shooting off the dribble. I’ll work on your form and your footwork to make sure you are confident and effective! I’m a point guard by nature that can shoot and create my own shot. I know all the positions so I can help the transition from defense to offense without or without the ball. Scoring is great but being able to do everything else easily will keep you in the game when scoring isn’t as easy. Also, to see a kid get better in what they want to get better at and the happiness they receive is all I need and want

My name is Byron Cubit Jr, and I’m a passionate basketball coach from Kansas City, Missouri. Basketball has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old, and throughout my journey as a player, I learned that the game is about more than just skills—it’s about character, discipline, and growth on and off the court. I played four years of high school basketball, starting my career at Blue Valley North before transferring to Olathe North High School, where I earned a varsity spot as a sophomore. By my junior year, I was the starting guard, known for my defensive energy, ability to guard the opposing team’s best player, knock down the three, and run the offense with leadership and confidence. I finished my senior year at Lancaster High School in Texas, continuing my dedication to the game. I continued my basketball career at Arkansas Baptist College until a wrist injury required surgery. During my recovery, I found a new passion—coaching. I coached a summer league team for a year, and that experience opened my eyes to how much I love working with kids and helping them grow not just as athletes, but as young people. After that, I returned to college, but coaching never left my heart. As a coach, I believe in teaching the game the right way while also teaching life. I want young athletes to understand that success comes from hard work, discipline, and confidence—nothing is handed to you. I always encourage players to have fun, embrace the grind, and believe in themselves on and off the court. What sets me apart is the support I give my players beyond basketball. Whether they need help in the classroom, at home, or navigating life, I show up. I’m committed to motivating and guiding each player to reach their highest potential as an athlete and as a person. I coach because I truly love it, and I want to inspire the next generation with the same passion, joy, and determination that basketball gave me. Also I train In defensive skills , ball handling , and shooting and IQ as well
