I teach tennis with a clear, structured approach that makes the game easier to understand. My lessons are active and hands-on, focusing on timing, spacing, and control through consistent repetition. I emphasize simple fundamentals and real ball hitting so players build confidence and improve in actual points—not just drills. I’ve worked with kids, teens, and adults in private lessons, helping players develop consistency and confidence step-by-step. Availability is set for June - August 2026. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGrip basics, ready position, forehand fundamentals, simple backhand intro, coordination drills, short controlled hitting.
Lesson 2-3Developing forehand and backhand contact, swing shape, spacing to the ball, basic movement patterns, short-court rallies.
Lesson 4-10Improving consistency, directional control, movement and recovery, controlled rallies, intro to serve fundamentals when ready.
Lesson 11+Serve development, rally patterns, point-based games, consistency challenges, and match-style situations as appropriate.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonHitting assessment, rally rhythm, consistency evaluation, cooperative drills, and identifying focus areas for repetition and improvement
Lesson 2-3Live-ball hitting, structured feeds, pattern repetition, movement and recovery work, and controlled point situations.
Lesson 4-10Sustained rally work, serve and return reps, situational point play, footwork efficiency, and competitive consistency drills.
Lesson 11+Match-style hitting, pressure-based games, extended point play, consistency challenges, and focused review sessions.
Youth players
Working with kidsI introduce kids to tennis through fun, simple movement games and easy-to-learn hitting progressions. Sessions focus on coordination, balance, basic swing shapes, and confidence, using age-appropriate equipment and games to keep learning fun and engaging.
Working with teenagersI help teens build strong fundamentals, consistent stroke mechanics, and smart movement habits. Lessons focus on repetition, rally development, point awareness, and confidence for school teams, recreational play, or early competition. Sessions are structured but adapted to each player’s level and goals.
What you need to bringThe minimum students must bring is a tennis racquet, water, and tennis shoes. Students are encouraged to wear hats, sweatbands, and appropriate tennis-wear. Also, they should carry at least one towel to dry themselves off. I also recommend students to record their lessons with a phone and carry a journal.
