Fantastic tennis instructor and Coach/Mentor. Very knowledgeable and detailed minded in the 2 years I've been taking tennis lessons. My all around tennis game has greatly improved!!!
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI first take inventory of they're equipment. And make sure they have proper court shoes and socks. All clothing fit loosely for comfortable range of motion. And take them through a casual on court warm up to allow them to loosen up before any on court training.
Lesson 11+I will gradually check and test they're hitting techniques. I've always had great success with bringing beginners along slowly to help them develop range of hitting motion as well as grip position memory. Again I find this allows them feel comfortable during the development of basic ground stokes. And increases they're confidence when moving on to more advanced ground stokes and devoloping their serve. Before we move on to learn how to learn to keep score.
Lesson 4-10At this point I will have a custom list of hitting exercises in place. And I'll repeat these exercises consistently through 4-10. This will greatly increase they're ability to adopt to hitting forehand and backhand ground stokes.
Lesson 2-3I usually repeat the same process from first lesson. I find this will allow them to develop a consistent routine before any on court training.
Youth players
Working with kidsStarting with a very fundamental approach. And consistently teaching the basic tennis skills of proper tennis court equipment equipment. A)tennis racket size 2)tennis court shoes (proper fit). 3) proper loose fitting attire.
And teaching tennis ball striking techniques.
