Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe’ll start by covering the fundamentals—basic rules, how scoring works, and essential equipment. Players will also develop hand-eye coordination through fun, dynamic drills that improve timing and ball tracking. You’ll learn proper grip, ready stance, and simple stroke mechanics to help build confidence from day one.
Lesson 2-3Foundational Skills & Movement:
Now that you’ve got the basics, we’ll refine your forehand and backhand technique and introduce consistent serving mechanics. This stage also focuses on footwork fundamentals, agility, and learning how to move efficiently on the court. You’ll start to understand basic court positioning and how to recover after each shot.
Lesson 4-10Control, Consistency & Rallies:
These sessions will focus on improving your shot control, depth, and accuracy. You’ll practice both groundstrokes and volleys in rally-based drills, helping you learn how to keep the ball in play. We’ll introduce simple rally patterns and begin to explore game strategies like targeting open space and anticipating your opponent’s shot.
Lesson 11+Match Play & Advanced Techniques
Now it’s time to apply everything in live-ball situations. You’ll participate in structured point play and mini matches while learning to construct points, make smart shot selections, and handle different types of balls. We’ll introduce topspin, slice, and approach shots, and focus on mental readiness and competitive mindset to prepare you for match play or league-level competition.
