Beginner training plan
Your first lessonEvaluate the level of the player. Determine the comfort level with different strokes (forehand, backhand, serve, volley, etc). Break down each stroke in detail.
Lesson 11+Here we start developing real match skills. The focus shifts to consistency under pressure, strategy, and more advanced shots. 🎾
Lesson 4-10At this stage, the goal is to move players from basic rallying → real tennis skills and strategy, adding match play and tactics.
Lesson 2-3Help the player to set goals and guide him or her to achieve them. The goal is to build consistency and basic rally ability.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI evaluate their level, identify weaknesses, and run high-intensity drills. The first session is mostly an assessment + competitive training. 🎾
✅ By the end of the first advanced lesson I should know:
• Their strongest shot
• Their weakest shot
• Fitness and movement level
• Tactical understanding.
Then future lessons target those weaknesses.
Lesson 11+We shift fully into match-simulation, tactical mastery, and fine-tuning skills under pressure. At this stage, technical errors should be small; improvement comes from consistency, shot selection, mental toughness, and advanced patterns. 🎾
Lesson 4-10For advanced players, lessons 4–10 should focus on match patterns, pressure situations, and tactical decision-making. At this level, players already have solid technique, so the improvement comes from strategy, consistency under pressure, and smarter shot selection. 🎾
Lesson 2-3We start fixing weaknesses that have been noticed in lesson 1. The focus becomes patterns, pressure drills, and tactical situations, not basic strokes. 🎾
Youth players
Working with kidsThe key is to focus on fun, movement, and simple wins 🎾 it’s important to praise effort, not only results!
Working with teenagersIt’s all about independence, challenge, and respect! Mix of drills and points play!
