Hector is awesome. He really knows his tennis stuff, especially when it comes to racket strings. Super helpful and patient, making each lesson fun. He breaks down techniques clearly and tailor his coaching to my needs. If you're looking to up your tennis game, I definitely recommend Hector. He’s got the skills to help you improve and the knowledge to geek out about tennis equipment too.

He was very nice and attentive, I trained for only a short while as I visited here from college, he took his time to really help me since I was a complete beginner, he taught me how to volley and do forehand’s instantly and I was able to fully understand and comprehend the tips, I felt very comfortable and excited to learn so quick, I would absolutely recommend Hector as he’s very caring and encouraging

I have played very little and Hector seemed like a pro to me, I was able to start rallies after just a few minutes of coaching, and he’d give me advice as I played, I loved the energy on court with the encouragement and positive attitude. I 100% would come back but I live far, so any chance I get to practice with Hector I do,
Isabel
I barely started and hector gave me a such a good environment to learn in, I felt so optimistic and confident as the session went as I saw my progress in real time, he was absolutely a amazing and wonderful person to have as a coach, I still train with hector and every time our sessions feel so short because of how fun it is

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is primarily to introduce forehand, backhands, and volleys to a player, teaching basic tennis points and helping players get a feel for hitting down the middle consistently, my goal is to have students rallying confidently by the end of the first lesson
Lesson 11+Reoccurring lessons will be centered around accuracy and mindset, by this point players mindsets are what’s going to help elevate their game, therefore I then shift my focus from technique to mental strength training, the mental side of tennis will be trained by doing active match play with emphasis on focus and using scientifically proven mental fortitude methods to build up a unbreakable inner sense of confidence
Lesson 4-10By the 6th lesson players will have a basic understanding of how to play a set of tennis and how to force errors and minimize their own mistakes, this where lessons really emphasize shot quality and precision, honing in on every skill acquired, building cardio and adding power to every shot
Lesson 2-3Players will be learning serves and how to play tactically, I will help breakdown strategies for rally’s and how to hit consistently

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonLearning to adapt on the court with statistical advantages, learning about not only why statistical advantages exist but how to use them to your best ability, we’ll cover best court positioning and shot selection
Lesson 11+Full integration of all skills and developing players to be fully independent of a tennis coach and helping players gain a sense of play style, self creativity and independency as so that they can be successful on their own and even help others reach the same success
Lesson 4-10Advanced understanding of cardio plan to keep injury free and learning the best footwork patterns to optimize ball striking and power
Lesson 2-3Overcoming the mental battle, really adding in a emphasis on the stress and anxiety that often comes from tennis matches, we will dive deep into human biology and psychology to better understand whats needed in order to overcome every mental hurdle stopping elite level players from accomplishing their goals

Youth players
Working with kidsAdapting lessons to each individual kid is exactly what I work on, I believe that each student learns differently and at different rates, it’s important for me to help students learn in a way that’s most beneficial to them, I definetly curate each lesson to be more engaging for kids since often times making the learning process more fun generates better results for tennis, and I have great drills and mini games for youth students, of course while teaching fundamentals of tennis, and I believe patience definetly is the key to helping any student, I don’t believe in rushing the process, I truly think at the start of tennis it’s most important to make the lessons engaging and positive while helping them learn new skills everyday

Working with teenagersI honestly believe teenagers are at a level at which they can compete at a high level, this means I do my best to start transitioning teenagers from playing more mini games to practicing with more points and strategy based drills during the lessons, at this stage I help students switch to more match play specific drills while sprinkling in fun mini games, and as students grow I become more tennis strategy and cardio focused as to best help them prep for highschool and in their future tennis career

What you need to bringAt minimum Any athletic wear similar to running clothes, players will also eventually need proper tennis shoes to avoid injury, besides that all will be supplied and students just need to come with open minds and a willingess to learn🙌

What I can bringI will bring a full basket of tennis balls, and beginner friendly racquets to choose from, as-well as advanced level racquets for when players progress
