I have been coaching kids aged 6-12 at Youth League Tennis in both Fremont and Livermore for the past three years. My focus is on beginners, helping them learn the basics like topspin forehand and double backhand to get them started and enjoy the sport. My goal is to spark their interest in playing more and to encourage them to learn the next skills, such as serving and volleying, leading to eventual match play.

We have nothing but great things to say about Darren. Honestly, this teacher teaches way above and beyond, but most teachers would. He is outstanding. Less than four lessons, my daughter improved so much. She had taken lessons from other areas, but was not able to hit a ball across the net. I feel that if you work with Darren, Your child will improve very rapidly and I just don’t feel that his price actually matches Disability to teach young children. He was great in all respects. I really wish we could’ve continued on, but we only had certain days available and he was not available those days. If you are considering hiring a coach, I would strongly recommend Darren. My experience and my husband’s experience with him has been outstanding.He’s got the skills to teach and the patience to teach him children, and he knows the process.
