Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will run a skill-level practice to see what skill level the student is at. I will then practice whatever basics needed to improve.
Lesson 11+By now, the student will have learned every skill needed to play tennis. I will ask them what they specifically feel they need to work on, or if I see something I will work on that with them.
Lesson 4-10Focus on technique within the forehand and backhand shots. Once I feel they are improving heavily and have been hitting well, I will move onto serves.
Lesson 2-3Will focus heavily on forehand and backhand hitting, making sure they understand how to hold the racket properly and work on basic hitting.
What you need to bringBring lots of water and wear athletic clothing and gym shoes!
What I can bringI can provide 1 racket during lessons to 1 student, as well as tennis balls to hit with.
