The first lesson is about getting to know the player and understanding their current skill level, experience, and goals. We start with a fun warm-up and basic ball activities, then assess fundamentals such as dribbling, first touch, passing, coordination, and comfort with the ball. I use the session to identify strengths and areas for improvement while making sure the player feels comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn.
The second and third lessons focus on building a strong foundation. We begin developing proper technique through ball mastery, dribbling, passing, receiving, and basic 1v1 movements. I introduce simple decision-making and game-related exercises so the player can begin applying new skills instead of only practicing them in isolation.
Lessons 4โ10 become more challenging and personalized based on the player's progress. We work on improving speed of play, first touch under pressure, passing and receiving, dribbling, finishing, 1v1 situations, movement, positioning, and decision-making. I gradually increase the intensity and introduce more game-like situations to help the player transfer their skills into real matches.
After the first 10 lessons, training becomes increasingly personalized around the player's position, goals, strengths, and areas that still need development. We continue building technical consistency while focusing on advanced decision-making, tactical awareness, confidence, and performance in game situations. Progress is reviewed regularly so each session continues to challenge the player and move them toward their next level.
