Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThis is more of a get to know you session. What are you looking to gain from these lessons? How much do you already know about music? What are your favorite songs, artists, albums, etc? What is music to you?
We will then begin with exercises depending on the comfortability of the singer to warm up vocally and physically. The student can then sing any song of their choice so that I can get to know them and where their voice currently sits.
Advanced training plan
Youth players
Working with kidsMusic is fun! I want students to look forward to lessons and not feel as if they have to be perfect. Kids learn a lot from copying others, and so there will be a lot of exploration of singing like you own twenty castles or as if you are Hulk - the strongest there is!
What you need to bringAlways bring a notebook and a pencil with an eraser, and don’t forget to bring water.
What I can bringI will bring straws and corks for SOVT exercises. When necessary, I will bring sheet music.
