Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson focuses on getting to know the student and establishing a foundation. We discuss the student’s goals, musical interests, and previous experience. The student will learn basic posture, breathing, and how the voice works. Simple vocal warm-ups and exercises will be introduced to help them begin developing healthy vocal habits.
Lesson 11+As students progress, lessons become more individualized based on their goals and musical interests. We continue strengthening technique while working on more challenging repertoire. Students may also focus on performance skills, stylistic interpretation, vocal health, and preparing songs for auditions, performances, or recordings.
Lesson 4-10During these lessons, students begin developing stronger technique and confidence. We expand vocal exercises to improve range, tone quality, breath support, and pitch accuracy. Students will work on songs that allow them to apply what they are learning while also exploring expression, phrasing, and musical interpretation.
Lesson 2-3In the second and third lessons, students begin building consistency with basic vocal technique. We continue working on breathing, posture, and vocal warm-ups while introducing simple exercises to improve pitch, tone, and control. Students may begin working on a short song that matches their voice and skill level.
