My journey in the performing arts world has been shaped by an M.Ed in Theatre Pedagogy and a BFA in Musical Theatre. With nearly two decades of experience, I've been dedicated to teaching private voice and acting lessons to students of all ages and levels. Currently, I share my expertise in Drama and Voice at a public high school in Miami, FL. My specialization is in vocal technique, particularly jazz, musical theatre, and pop styles. Beyond the stage, I assist students in audition preparation, performance technique, career development, and crafting solo theatrical and cabaret shows. Whether in-person from my private home studio in Kendall, FL, or through virtual lessons, I'm committed to nurturing the next generation of performers and creators.

My daughter loves her lessons with Ivette! She is patient, nurturing and so sweet. She absolutely loves her 5 minute “tea time” before beginning the lessons with a huge selection of teas to choose from with lemon. What you need to bringStudents should bring a folder with pockets. The folder will be used to store sheet music and notes.
What I can bringFor virtual lessons, WIFI and Smartphone or Tablet are needed. Virtual lessons are preferably conducted via FaceTime due to the minimal delay. Zoom is not recommended due to its delay.
For in person lessons, no equipment is needed, although I do recommend students record their lessons on their phone. This will help them practice throughout the week.
